Dortmunder Export was originally brewed in Dortmund, Germany with a high-gravity wort to extend its shelf life for export. Our 100% malt Export is a strongly-flavored lager brewed using a hundred-year-old recipe. A deep aroma and bitter flavor are hallmarks.This traditional style lager got awarded the Gold medal in the competition held by Japan Beer Journalist Association in 2015.
This German-style black beer has a refreshing taste and little bitterness. While it foregrounds the sweetness of roasted ingredients and caramel and a hoppy aroma, the balanced finish makes it go down easy.
Weizen is a traditional style unfiltered ale beer made from wheat malt that is popular in southern Germany. This beer has a fruity aroma and a mellow taste deriving from the lavish malt. Handcrafted by Japanese artisan with the use of more than 100-year-old malt mill and 100% copper brewkettle, you can feel the traditional and unique taste from the beautiful liquid.

Kyara is the Japanese word for a deep golden brown color tinged with red, and gives its name to this beer of the same hue. Aromatic hops carry notes of white grapes and spicy citrus, while a fresh, clean bitterness unfolds on the palate. Six different malts are combined with a slightly higher than average alcohol content, bringing a more expansive flavor to this well-rounded, medium-bodied brew. Low-temperature lager yeasts make this a stand-up beer with a pleasant, crisp finish.
Marihana means "hop flower" in Japanese, and hops take the lead in this session IPA that delivers a highly drinkable beer without sacrificing on flavor. Shikkoku is a Japanese word that evokes the jet-black color of onyx, perfect for this enchantingly dark, slow-aged brew marked by an elegant, mellow flavor profile. Enigmatic shadows contrast sharply with the brightness of its fine, tea-colored head, while the fragrance of aromatic hops delights the nose. Two types of black malt join six other malt varieties for a black lager that is smooth, light, and balanced-never cloying. Wheat beer is instantly recognizable by its bright hue, tinged with a soft, milky white glow. Yeasts selected specifically for their ability to bring out sweet aromas from the wheat are complemented by fruity notes for a rich yet refreshing brew that is smooth on the tongue and goes down with a flourish. We chose the Japanese word for white for our Hefeweizen as a way to capture not only its bright color, but also its distinctively gentle character that is at once comforting and unique.

Premium Rich Ale makes plentiful use of the best hops available. The bright, grape-fruity aroma from those citrusy hops is perfectly balanced with its rich flavor. This authentic ale is best enjoyed at about 54 degrees, so don't forget to take it out of the fridge a little early.

This high-gravity stout incorporates locally grown Japanese "Kuri" or chestnuts from Miyazaki Prefecture as an adjunct ingredient. The full-bodied robust stout offers a beautiful roasty sweet aroma, and a velvetty mouthfeel with notes of nutty chocolates. With it being a high-gravity beer, the bottle will show a "Best After Date" and a "Vertical Year" for aging.
Valuing community identity and creating a product with the potential to become a local specialty item were our top priorities when developing this beer. That's why, as the name suggests, we incorporated Aichi Prefecture's famous red (aka) miso into the recipe. The umami of the soybean-based miso melds with the umami of the malt for a well-balanced, distinctively smooth flavor.
We were curious whether a Japanese herb could replace some of the traditional hops in beer, so we developed this craft beer brewed with sansho. Happily, it turns out that the refreshing sensation of Japanese peppercorns harvested in the mountains of Ichinoseki make beer even more delicious.

Suiyoubi no Neko ("Wednesday Cat") is made for your "happy hump days". Spiced with orange peel and coriander seeds, this tropical Belgian White Ale has a light citrus note and a clean smooth finish. This "meowsome" beer will help you get "over the hump" and through the rest of the week.

The Umami IPA is part of our "I'm Sorry I Forgot to Ask you What you Like" series of adjunct beers that our brewers wanted to brew and drink, but perhaps not you. The umami is extracted from Japanese "katsuo-bushi" or bonito flakes, which not only facilitates fermentation but also brings out refreshing and fruity tropical notes to this crushable IPA. And NO, it doesn't taste like fish !!
