Sake on the Global Culinary Stage

The popularity of Sake continues to grow here in the UK. No longer confined to Japanese menus, many other restaurants, including Modern British and European cuisines, now include Sake on their wine lists. The perfect match for a wide range of dishes and cuisines, Sake is particularly well suited for enjoying with seafood thanks to its high umami factor and low levels of iron and acidity.

This autumn, some of the top restaurants in London are celebrating all things Sake as part of the Sake Seafood Sensations campaign, organised by JFOODO.

The talented chefs at these restaurants have each created a very special menu comprising two or three tantalising seafood dishes. Working closely with a team of Sake experts, each dish has been paired with a Sake that will help the flavours in the dish really shine through, demonstrating the unrivalled harmony of a seafood and Sake pairing.
