Maikotea Japan
Hojicha
Maiko no Cha Hanpo (Maiko Tea Japan) adopted its current name and sales strategy in 1970 as part of our goal to expand access to the delicious tea produced by Fugenji, involved in processing tea for several generations.
Our company’s motto, 茶和来福 “Tea invites harmony and blessings,” is reflected in the work and dealings of farmers and staff alike at Maiko Tea. In our pursuit to produce quality green tea, we complement each other like members of an extended family.
The hospitality of serving tea surely makes any person feel relaxed, and reveals a deep element of our nature and reality. The word harmony includes three important meanings: being gentle, friends, and authentically Japanese.
Some decades ago, during a time of personal struggles, I was pondering about my future and noticed the words “Tea ? one way” on a scroll. It was by the impact of these words that I decided to continue the family tea business without further hesitation.
Our tea company, which has been committed to Japanese green tea as the “one way,” is pleased, and appreciates the fact, that we can bring happiness and harmony to others through the cultivation, manufacturing, and sale of tea.
Genuine Japanese green tea is becoming increasingly demanded around the world, and the happiness we get in return continues to remind us of the motto we adopted at the time of our founding ? tea invites harmony and blessings!
