As these flavours sing on the taste buds, they create a fluid journey with a pleasant hint of bitterness, culminating in a clean and straightforward finish. This elegant combination lingers and leaves a satisfying moment of contentment, encouraging an enriched exploration of its evolving flavour profile with each subsequent sip, and an invitation to savor its complexities further.
About the Sake brewery:
Founded in 1751, The Manaturu Sake Brewery is one of the oldest sake breweries Echizen Ōno's. Situated along the upper Kuzuryu River, this renowned brewery is located in the Hokuriku region, fondly referred to as “Little Kyoto,” situated along the upper Kuzuryu River.
Surrounded by majestic mountains reaching heights of over 3,000 feet. The fertile valley grows the finest “Gohyakumangoku” rice, complemented by crystalline waters acclaimed among Japan's best. Winter's frigid temperatures and heavy snowfall provide an ideal setting for sake production, seemingly ordained by divine providence. Using time-honoured brewing techniques, the small brewery specializes in crafting premium Ginjo-shu, venturing beyond tradition to create unparalleled sake experiences.
