Hourai Junmai Daiginjo Irootoko
WATANABE SHUZOTEN
Irootoko, whose name translates as Lady Killer, is a refined Junmai Daiginjo inspired by the sophistication of male host clubs, where hosts seek premium sake to serve discerning female clients. It opens with delicate aromas of ripe melon, intertwined with subtle hints of cream cheese and fresh rainwater. On the palate it is complex and structured, offering remarkable depth of flavour that lingers gracefully. Elegant and well-textured, yet light and approachable, it finishes with a gentle crispness and a mineral edge. Irootoko embodies both playful charm and meticulous craftsmanship, making it a standout contemporary sake.
