About the Sake brewery:
Founded over 270 years ago during the Edo period, Haginotsuyu Brewery is nestled in Katsuno, Takashima-cho, near the serene waters of Lake Biwa in Japan’s historic Omi region. Known as “Dew of the Bush Clover,” the brewery produces premium sake using locally grown Omi rice and pristine water from Mt. Hira. Each bottle offers a mellow, smooth flavour with a clean, refined finish. Guided by the philosophy of enjoying sake for its taste rather than intoxication, the brewery combines centuries of tradition with careful craftsmanship, celebrating the harmony of nature, heritage, and artistry in every bottle.
