MIYAO SHUZO
First released 55 years ago, this sake comes from one of Japan’s oldest junmai breweries and played a pioneering role in the modern junmai sake boom. It opens with a gentle, banana-like rice aroma that is refined and inviting. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of the five key flavours—sweetness, acidity, bitterness, umami, and saltiness—creating a smooth yet layered experience. The crisp, clean aftertaste refreshes the senses, making it highly food-friendly. Perfectly paired with a wide range of dishes, this sake exemplifies both tradition and innovation in junmai brewing.
